Miso Glazed Salmon
Ingredients:
- 1 pound salmon fillet
- 2 tablespoons miso paste
- 1 tablespoon mirin (Japanese rice wine)
- 1 tablespoon sake (or use more mirin)
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
For the glaze:
Mix together the miso paste, mirin, sake, and brown sugar until well combined. Set aside.
Preheat oven to 400°F. Place salmon skin-side down in a baking dish. Brush on 80% of the miso mixture, coating the salmon evenly.
Bake salmon for 8-10 minutes until just cooked through. Remove from oven and brush on the remaining miso glaze.
Serve over rice with steamed vegetables. Enjoy this sweet and umami Japanese-inspired salmon!
